The Ballantyne Elementary Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) was chartered by the North Carolina PTA (NCPTA) in 2008 at the opening of the school. Along with the NCPTA and National PTA, our mission is to advocate for the education, health, safety and success of all youth while building strong families and communities. We also share the same values of Collaboration, Commitment, Accountability, Respect, Inclusivity, and Integrity.
The Ballantyne Elementary PTA had approximately 300 members last school year, but with a school of over 1,000 we can be so many more! Parents, teachers, and anyone else concerned about the well-being of our children are encouraged to join the Ballantyne Elementary PTA (annual dues of $10 per person/$20 per family), volunteer their time on one of our many committees, and attend our 3 general PTA meetings during the year (September, December, and May). Active parent and teacher involvement is one of the many reasons why Ballantyne Elementary is such a strong school.
