Sign Up For Parent Square & then Download the App in your App Store - https://www.parentsquare.com/signin​
  • It will be the one stop shop for ALL of your communication from the school, your teachers, and the PTA.
  • You will receive your weekly Bear Blast Newsletter through this forum.
  • You will get messages from your teacher, and be able to send them messages as well!
  • It will include a calendar of events and a way to RSVP for events and add those events right to your calendar!
  • All parents are expected to sign up to receive necessary communications. No other methods will be utilized.
  • Make sure you use the same email you use to sign in to Power School (below) for them to link correctly!

  • Online method of viewing student grades, attendance, and report cards when paper copies are not being mailed.
  • Click the link to open the website in an internet browser.
  • Click Create an Account to sign up and link your students.
  • Make sure you use the same email you used for ParentSquare for them to link correctly!

  • Being a member does not commit you to volunteering.  Becoming a member shows that you support your school and our mission to provide programs and services to your child, the staff, and the entire student body.
  • Being a member allows you to vote on critical issues, the annual budget, new elective board members, and more!
  • After considering parent feedback on Pay4SchoolStuff, we have moved membership registration over to the NCPTA platform - Memberhub.  Come check it out!

  • The school does so much for our children but the PTA helps to fill in the gaps by supporting our children and staff in ways that the district and the school could not always accomplish, especially during these uncertain times.  Help us to give back to the school by donating now.

  • This is an easy way to keep track of where your student's bus is in the morning and afternoons!

Download the Canvas App (for mobile devices) - Apple Version or Google Version
  • The Canvas website is used as a virtual classroom between students and teachers if they should need to return to learning remotely.
  • While this is not required to begin the school year, this will be useful should a remote environment need to be employed during the year.
  • This parent app is a way to keep track of assignments and grades for your students.

  • If you have a little bit more time to give or are interested in being a bigger part of what makes BES the BES-T, look through our Committee Chair options to see if one of them fits the time you have available!

Ballantyne Bear Birthday Rock Sign Up - Click Here!
  • ​Sign up to paint our birthday rock for your Bear's special day.  Normally our sign up only includes school days (no weekend or school holidays) but, given the unique nature of this school year, we want our Bears to have the opportunity to see their name on the rock no matter what day of the week it falls on!  On the sign up you will see that we have included EVERY day of the school year for you to choose.
  • Please read through the directions for the rock on our rock page and then sign up for your special days!
